At first when I start reading this book I notice it has the very same character as in Lord of the Rings, Bilbo Baggins. It shows how this character and Gandalf meet for the first time because in the latter book they were already good friends. As the story progresses Gandalf tells Bilbo he needs to go on a adventure. This I'm inferring will be the very adventure that he will find the ring on in the next book. Bilbo is very reluctant to go on his adventure.

I can already tell I'm going to like this book from its feel. Its written very similar to the Fellowship of the Ring. The plot seems like it's going to also be very similar considering it's the same characters at a earlier period of time. It will probably jump right into the adventure unlike the other book where you had to wait. I feel like this story will contain less action though.
