Harrison Bergeron

Harrison Bergeron is by far one of the weirdest stories I've read. It is set in an alternate reality which I still have hard time understanding. It is sad and at the same time hilarious. I really have no idea how I feel about it. I still am having trouble with the"everyone is equal" part. I don't understand how everyone can talk perfectly fine and the announcers have impediments. That's not equal.

The character of Harrison Bergeron really interests me too. He's a rebel to a terrible society. He was basically freeing everyone from what they were forced to be to what they are. He was doing anything wrong he was actually doing good. The government did not like that and he ended up dying. That's what I call dedication.

  1. I agree with you Harper! Harrison Bergeron was so crazy! But maybe you could give a little more details on what you thought was weird! Good job though.

  2. Your right about the announcers. That doesn't seem equal I don't understand that. Also you need to say what you thought was weird. Good reading response.
